A Little Blog For Ya,

Hey everyone!
It's been a long time since I've posted a blog and thought that making one while Facebook is down and watching Celebrity Ghost Stores is a good time to do so.

So...if you don't know I'm going home for the Holiday's on Saturday and I'm staying for an entire 3 weeks! I'm pretty excited considering I won't be back home until June. I guess I should be doing laundry and starting to pack but that's just no fun when trying to watch one of my favorite shows. Also I am going to start vlogging, I know I keep saying I'm going to do it and I never do but seriously I'm going to start. I really want to start tonight but I might start tomorrow. I don't have anything else to say now, I just wanted to write a little because I haven't done so in a while.

Why I haven't been blogging

Alright so here's the deal on why I haven't been blogging like I said. I've been reading. Yeah, I probably look like a slow reader to some of you and part of that's true but I do live in a house with other people including young children that need care, they aren't mine, but I still have to watch them from time to time and keep the house clean. I'm actually suppose to be right now because I got some new books today! My stash includes Catching Fire, Mockingjay, Misguided Angel, Crescendo( A published copy,)and When Werewolves Attack! So there will be a lot of reviews in the next couple weeks because I have a couple handfuls of other books to read/finish as well! I just did a review this morning on The Hunger Games that you can check out right here!

Books, Chili, and Witches?

Howdy y'all, long time no see! I realized the other day that I haven't posted here in a long, long, long time and I wanted to post again, mainly because this blog has followers... and because I'm going to try and blog everyday until the end of the month!

Now I have a few things to tell you, 1. I've moved Sassy's Shelf to right here so if you would check it out that would be awesome. I'm working on getting it to look awesome right now so ignore the background but click the links in the side bar! 2. I'm working on a new Sassy's Shelf blog and a Fatass Frenzy blog, it explains how to make Pumpkin Chili, which is really good! And 3. It's getting closer and closer to Halloween! If you don't know, Halloween is one of my favorite holiday's! I have loved it ever since I could walk, I love scaring people and dressing up and horror movies! I can't get enough of horror movies and I've been waiting for Halloween to come on TV, it's one of my all time favs! Since I can't remember if my mom had dressed me up when I was 6 months for my first Halloween...wait maybe I was a pumpkin...well anyway, the "first" Halloween costume I wore, and vaguely remember, was a flower costume my mom had made me. I don't have a picture of it but I wish I did, it was cute.

Here's a  little fact about me, I have dressed as a witch more times than I can count, I don't know why but I think it's because I loved Halloween Town and Hocus Pocus.

 My costume this year is still under wraps because 1. it's suppose to be a surprise and 2. I might change my mind again if I can't get what I want.

Do The Dished Right!

I hate bugs, they bug me. No really, I hate bugs, that last Hoarders episode had me squirming wanting to clean everything, having things unclean is one of my biggest pet peeves. I can't stand obscene dirtiness it's just gross. And one of the biggest problems I have with the way my 2nd family cleans is how they do the dishes. My aunt doesn't rinse ANYTHING off, she just shoves  shit in the dishwasher and expects it to come out completely clean. The only reason anything ever comes out clean is because I either rewash it or I did it in the first place. Sorry but it really annoys me when I'm trying to put dishes away and I keep pulling stuff out that's covered in filth! I mean whenever she puts stuff away that she's washed does she notice it? I must be very OCD if I do these things just with the dishes, haha but would you want to eat off a dirty plate or gunk covered forks? I don't think you would.

Don't judge me because I'm not judging you.

Hello all! I know I haven't blogged in a little while and I have a good explanation for that...okay maybe not but I have been thinking of loads of stuff to blog about so each day from tomorrow until Saturday I will have a totally different topic for you all to ponder and I would really like any feedback that you have for me, good or bad it doesn't matter.

Alright tonight I just want to talk to you about something very real that effects everyone in some way at some point in time, now I try to keep my spirituality a little on the DL, I don't do it in a way that would make someone think that I'm almost embarrassed about how spiritual I am, I try and do it in a way that is respectful of the people around me because I have friends that are Christian, Jewish, Satanic, and beyond. Now I'm not blogging this to try and convert you, I want to tell you about how I  perceive the world(and universe).

#1 I believe that the God I worship is the same God that every other religion worships, in Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, etc. I just can't see why my God would give His people different ideas on how their God(s) were born or came to this earth and then punish them for believing what they believe if that's all they've ever know.

#2 I'm listening to Justin Bieber, don't judge me.

#3 I don't think that all people are good and if you come across one of those people the best thing to do is to just be as polite as you can and then walk away. There's not point in putting up with someone more than is necessary.

#4 I know it's hard not to judge people especially when they've ended up on people of walmart, I do my best not to do this to anyone, even those that I dislike and when I catch myself doing it I just try and change the subject.

#5 I, like a lot of other people get ticked off in some way when I hear someone complaining that they are fat or ugly, etc. I admit I don't do a good job when I tell people they aren't and I'm trying to improve on that. You may know that I call myself a fat ass a lot and I don't want and the thing that bugs me most is when people only say "No you aren't" umm hello have you seen me? I am, trust me and that is not my self-esteem talking that is my BRAIN talking. I know exactly what I look like and I admit there are many, many times when I'm not comfortable with myself but one thing that always over-rides that feeling is my personality. I may not be happy with the way my body looks but I'm am determined to change that for myself..and maybe for others too. If I ever see or hear you say that you're fat I'm not going to be nice and say "No you're not, don't think that" I'll tell you something else that I'm not sharing here but I will add that you're beautiful.

#6 I'm listening to Jonas Brothers now. Don't hate me because I don't hate you.

#7 I want you to know that I love the way I am and I don't plain to change anything about myself that goes against something that I do or don't believe. I'm not here to change you, I only want to be here if you want help with something.

Birthday parties are fun until "someone" shows up...

Monday, monday, monday... today has been a long day like always but it feel like I haven't gotten anything done which is partly true. I didn't wake up when I wanted and I haven't written anything for my short story but I hope to get some done later tonight. Right now my aunt and uncle are having an "argument" about nothing. I love the way they bicker it's awesome! But yes tonight I'm going to write AND read tonight and get to sleep by midnight!

My aunt finally got my cousins birthday invitations printed and ready to give out...only his birthday is in like 2 weeks. Haha. I get to make his cake and it's going to be Panthers themed. That will be so fun to make. 

Well dinner is ready and I have nothing else to say today so until tomorrow!

Hoard, Hoard, Hoard

I didn't wake up today, in fact I'm still not awake I'm writing this in my sleep. Well not really but I am still tired AND I watching Animal Hoarding!!! OMG I think I found a new favorite show! Although I must say that if I did become a hoarder I'd probably hoard animals...because I love them. I probably wouldn't have like 100 or even 50 animals in the house at one time (unless I had a huge fish tank with lots of seahorses :D) Oh I'd probably hoard babies too because I love them so much...but I think that's illegal. Twilight has taken over my life!

Alright today just for the fans (lol)I'm going to put all the twilight stuff that I have together and show you that I don't really have that much and that I need MORE! And a just wanna say a big thanks to Kristi (@southernstarlet) for what she sent me. I have more than a handful of stuff to add to my collection. So I'll keep you guys posted!

Zombie's are eating people

Today when I finally got outta bed after hours of playing Zombie Smash I started thinking about what I should blog about today but I was coming up short on ideas, so after 30 minutes of flipping though In Style magazine and making out a birthday card I finally thought of some non-sense to talk about. For one I need to remember to get pens(the good kind)stamps, and more birthday cards. I feel I'm running low.

Also Destination Truth is having a mini-marathon on Syfy which will be followed by a mini-marathon of Fact or Faked.(I can't wait for the Fact or Faked mini-marathon.)You should check both those shows out if you like the paranormal/mystery kinda stuff.  

But now as I can't stop thinking about fall fashion...and breakfast. Lol. I think that the best thing about fall is one of my favorite things, boots! And my most favorite brand for boots is Ugg! I love, love, love Uggs! I have an Ugg wish list that totals a good chunk of change. Maybe I need to move to Alaska or something just so I can wear them all year long. One other thing that I really like but don't have is a plaid jacket, like the one Bella wears in New Moon. I LOVE that thing! I'm keeping my eyes open for one but if you know wear to buy a plaid jacket(preferably neutral colors) Please tell me in the comments below! I'm thinking I need to have a Halloween themed contest soon. What do you think?

One man wolf pack

I woke up about 30 minutes ago. I didn't want to wake up this late but it happened; Which is a sign for me to start going to bed earlier because I really don't like waking up after 12 or even after 11. Also when I woke up my nose ring was still in unlike the past two days where it's fallen out, in turn freaking me out. 

Last night when I was watching #Shaytards, mommytard bought a shirt in Vegas that I really want now. Can you blame me? It's fucking awesome!

And speaking of Shaytards I'm like way behind on their vlogs so I'm gonna try and catch up today...let's see how well that works. 

I'm also still reading Charlie St. Cloud which makes it seem like I've been reading it forever but I guess 3 weeks is forever when reading a book. I'm also gathering ideas to write my own book but I apparently have really bad writers block and can only come up with the story idea. I'm going to look some stuff up though and then outline how I want it to be. I have another good idea too thanks to my mom and my aunt. So I'll will probably update on that a lot!

What's a Jellicle cat?

Alright if you like musicals and you like cats this is the perfect musical for you! First off if you don't know anything about Cats the Musical then you might be in for a surprise because it's based off a book of poems called Old Opossum's Book of Practical Cats by T.S Elliot. You don't have to read the book before unless you want to know the words to the songs, And I always have this thing where if I've seen a musical done by the original cast or on film before seeing it done at a smaller theatre like I did with Cats I always try and size up the second production to the first but I've got to say that tonight they blew me away! I wish I could go see it again but it was their last night here :'( I hope I get to see it again in the future and I hope that you get to see it too sometime! And if you are someone that thinks this musical sounds stupid as shit I ask you to not judge it before you see it because it really is a wonderful musical, if not for the composers but for the choreography! So if you have been wanting to go see it or wondering if it really is as good as the critics said it was you need to see it!

I love Electrolux but I can't afford it.

Alright this Christmas I want to get my parents something really cool an I have a 3 different ideas that I think are the best. The first option is to get them a new refrigerator, stove and microwave. 1 reason is because the ones that they have right now are not energy efficient (I'm kind of a green freak) another reason is that the stove top is really wonky and all the burners are offset. Now I'm thinking a nice stainless steal french door like the one below. And that fridge right there is a really nice one for a good price. I really like it. I've been trying to find a stove and a microwave that I like but I think I'm going to have to go to the store and look because I like seeing appliances in person before buying them but this fridge I think definitely has my vote.

The second option would be to get them a new washer and dryer like so. I think they kind of need one because they're had the same set for years and I know that the current set probably won't last to much longer. I wish I could afford a frigging Electrolux washer and dryer set because they're really nice and I'd like them myself, I found a nice pretty cheap set though! This LG set, it's gotten good reviews and they're energy efficient! 

Next is just getting a desktop computer. All they have is a laptop right now and with my mom being a teacher she sometimes has to fight with either my brother or my dad to try and get on to do work. I really want to get them an iMac because I know my mom would love it and she'd be able to get things done easily on it. I'd get a new desk too since they don't really have a desk at all.

When I was looking at computers I remembered that they had this really cool Xbox accessory on Jimmy Fallon the other night called the Kinect and I thought it would be cool to get my brother that to help get him off the couch when he's playing video games. So that's a definite Xmas gift to get for sure! 

Now I want your guises help with picking which I should choose to get! I like them all and wish I could get my parents everything that they need and trust me if I was a billionaire and could do so I'd build them the house of their dreams and have everything top of the line in it. I'd even get my mom her corvette... So if you would like to comment please do so down below! I never get comments and I want them! I love to hear what you have to say!

Eclipse party Ideas day 4!!!!

It's day 4 guys! Can you believe how close we are to Eclipse, only 4 more days!!! I can't wait I'm so excited and also tomorrow (Saturday) is Twilight Night(if you're in one of the participating cities) St.Louis was picked as one of those cities and when I found out I flipped! So tomorrow I am going to do my first vlog and it will be from Twilight Night! I hope I can snag some cool goodies while I'm there, they say they're going to have activities so we aren't bored the movie starts! OK now on to what I'm suppose to be blogging about which, is party decorations! For my decor I'm trying not to go overboard to much so that I don't break the bank for this one party but I do have some really cool ideas if you want to spend a little more. One thing that I really wanted to get were the cardboard cutouts of Edward, Bella, Jacob, and Alice but my parents (cuz I'm broke) wouldn't buy any of them. You can find them at several places though including allposters.com and nordstrom.com. Hostess with the Mostess has some pretty neat printables that can be used for different things and they're another thing that would have loved to use but unless I convince my dad to buy new ink I can't use them :( If you do print out the quotes though but don't want to buy a bunch of frames to put them an easy solution is to buy black cardboard it's kind of like poster board but thicker and can be found at most craft stores. Just buy some of that and then cut out and glue the pieces together to make you're own frames.

Stores also have their Eclipse tableware out now! I got mine at Party City but you can also by most products at Paper Factory Warehouse, Target, And iParty. Call your store ahead of time though to make sure they have what you want in stock. If you don't use the Eclipse table cover that is sold too use a black, red, or white one, I have a black one which will help draw attention to the tableware and not the table cover.

I'm going to decorate with red, black, and white crepe paper streams too and I'm going to have 4 big posters with the Quileute wolf symbol and the Cullen crest hung on the on the front porch and in the family room. I also wanted to get white slip covers to put on the couches in the family room then make black and red pillow slipcovers but again I can't do that because I don't have money so I'm going to find a way to improvise. Twinkle lights are also a must for any Twilight party! If you can recall any of Alice's parties she always has twinkle lights. If you don't already have a set or two stored away with your Christmas decorations you can get them from Amazon at a reasonable price. Candles is another thing that Alice uses at her parties and is a real easy thing to get a hold of. You don't need a ton of them but having 3 or 4 around (especially on you're main table) will add a nice touch. Alright I think I'm done with decor now and I hope some of these ideas come in handy for your next Twilight party!

Tomorrow I don't know if I'll blog. I probably will but if I don't have one done by 11pm you won't be getting anything because I have to get up really early!

Eclipse party Ideas day 3

Have you liked what I've posted so far for party ideas? I hope so because it's been taking forever to write these frigging things for some reason. Anyway today I'm showing you guys party food! Now if you're like me and feel like you've been coming up short because you can't think of anything besides chips and pizza don't worry! I have a lot of good food and drink ideas for you. 

Drinks I'm using: Venom,Monster, XXX Vitamin Water(look for this flavor with the eclipse labels!)

I'll also have soda and water available for my guests.

Food: I am going to have pizza at my party because it's an easy "dinner" food to get. I'm also going to be looking for red tortilla chips to keep with the black/red/white color theme. It's good to get a bunch of different candy so that you can spruce up your table and you can throw some in a ziplock and take it to the movies with you. Walmart has recently started selling small tubs of single colored M&M's (they are 4 bucks a pop though) which do come in red, white, and black! Brownies and cookies are always a favorite I think so be sure to have one or the other! Puppy chow is a good treat to make too. Also those cupcakes down there, those are real cute, I've got almost everything I need to make those for my party and I'm going to use red velvet and chocolate cake mix for them with white icing. 

Ok I think that's all the food ideas I have for now. Sorry for using so many pictures I just like using as many as I can haha. Tomorrow we'll discuss decor if that's alright with you guys.

Eclipse party Ideas day 2

Hey guys it's day 2 of Eclipse party ideas!

So yesterday I gave you that song game and today I'm gonna give you my goodie bag ideas! For the actual bags I bought several Twilight canvas bags from Walmart like these. Now I've decided to not give them any of the goodies when they get the bag because I'm going to put together a scavenger hunt with each stop having a goodie for everyone to take. 

I only got a few things to stock the bags with including these stickers and magnets

I also have a Bree Tanner bookmark and lanyard for each of my guests and New Moon pens and buttons. I(I got the New Moon because there was nothing Eclipse out yet and the New Moon stuff was way cheap) I have rings to for everybody.(Cuz edward gives Bella his mothers wedding ring in Eclipse)

I'm going to make candy bags like these too and have them save them for the movie.

I'm thinking also to put moon pies in the mix just because I love them.

They should be getting the Sky Bar's along with some other candy. I think everyone is gonna be on a sugar high.

Eclipse party ideas

Most of you guys know that I've been planning a Eclipse movie party for the past couple weeks now and I just keep saying how great I think my party ideas are and I've been thinking that I need to share them with you guys because it's not nice to be selfish, right? So I'm gonna share one or two ideas with you guys until like Sunday or Monday or whenever I run out of ideas. And please if you have comments for me I'd love to hear what you have to say!

Alright first idea that I think you guys are really gonna like! At least I hope you will.
I'm sorry the PDF file thing has like 3 steps to get the document but that's the only way I could get it to you guys. And I know you're gonna wanna know what stupid document I'm leading you too so I'll tell you. I typed up a list of all the songs on the Eclipse soundtrack and I'm gonna let all my guests listen the each song then try and determine which scene each song will be played in. Is that a good idea? I thought so.

Dream Casts cont.

If you read my last post then you'll know what i'm talking about here. Last night I offically decided that Sam(from Shiver) should, in my opinion, be played by none other then Tim Urban! Yeah thats right. This is all I have for now so whenever I update any 'dream cast' members i'll do so right here. So until I figure out any one else i'm off!

Dream Casts

OK so last night I was looking up people's dream casts for Shiver and Hush Hush and was going mad over some of the people that they thought would fit certain roles. Of course being me I didn't agree with most of the choices so I've started to compose my own lists of how I see the characters. And please don't hate me for a couple of my choices, you know I'm right when it comes to character casting ^_~

I'll start with who I have so far in my Hush Hush dream cast, again don't hate!

First I don't have anyone yet for Nora because I haven't looked for who she reminds me of.

Go ahead and hate on me for thinking Zac Efron reminds me of Patch. I have other people to look up to and I'll edit later but for now it's just going to be Zefron.

For Elliot I see Chad Michael Murray. I didn't think of him at first but when I re-read his description all I had to do was think of someone with blond hair and blue eyes. WHAM! He popped in, again I have one or two others that I think could be Elliot and I'll add them later.

Now as for Jules/Chauncey I had to go with someone who was tall. I know that you can edit and make someone look tall but I wanted someone who really is tall and if I could I'd pick Chief from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. I think I found two people that would make a good Jules/Chauncey though.

Either Dan (because of his height) or Jamie (I think his face fits Chauncey nicely)

Yeah I know I haven't found my girlfriend yet but Vee is just going to have to wait because I don't wanna mess up when I look for her. I did find the PERFECT Marcie though, you better agree! Shenae Grimes.

She's a bitch and I love her.

Ok that's all I have for Hush Hush right now. I'll tell you when I've updated the list.

Shiver

Shiver has been difficult because I just can't get the images out of my head and into any actors but I've gotten a few.

First, Sam, and you should be happy it's not Zac.

I went out on a limb and agreed that Adam Gregory is a good match...for now.

I never really thought about the way Grace looked other then her blond hair but I always imagined her having a soft face and being pretty but somewhat plain and I think Taylor Momsen fits that description. She just looks like she'd wander after a wolf, don't ya think?

Last for Shiver right now is Isabel. All I see when I think of Isabel is how she's described as having huge ringlet curls and I knew exactly who she would be. AnnaLynne McCord.

Sense that's all I have for now I'll stop boring you and if I have time on Friday I'll update this with characters I don't have in these lists, I can already see a certain monkey that would make an excellent bad boy.

LOOK I'M BLOGGING ABOUT STUFF

Hey everyone,

I know it's been a while since I last blogged and I know you all miss my blogging so much, so I thought i'd actually give you something good to read this time. If anyone has noticed I have read several books in the past month and have gotten hooked. If you haven't read these books that I'm about to list you need to either go die in a hole or get them and read them...NOW!

The first book i'm gonna tell you about is really a series and is called dun dun dun(I stoll that) The Mortal Instruments(City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass.) I have to say I didn't think I was going to like it that much but in reality I almost couldn't put the books down. It's about vampires, werewolves, fairies, demons, other weird creatures and most of all shadowhunters! Don't tell Jace(the shadowstud) but he's one of my favorites. I'm not actually going to tell you what happens in the book because my details sum up everything that happens and would give too many spoilers, so you'll have to find out what happens on your own. But this series definitly gets a thumbs up.

Next I have to tell you about a little book called Hush Hush. One word. FACKTASTIC! Yes, this book is simply marvelous. It's about a really hot fallen angel. (His name is Patch and Simon(simon is from mortal instruments) gets jealous when I talk about him) This one you have to read too because it's to good to tell anymore then I have(If you consider 'Patch is really hot' is a synopsis) The sequeal is also coming out this fall fall, titled Cresendo. If you can get Hush Hush read by the end of this week or the middle of next I suggest you enter the Ultimate Fan Contest at http://www.fallenarchangel.com/home/contests.html. Now get to it!

Last but not least, and the main reason i'm writing this blog, is for the book Shiver. It is honestly one of my most favorite books. I want to read it over and over and over but if I did that then all the other books that I want to read wouldn't get read at all. Shiver may be about humans that turn into wolves which makes them kind of like werewolves but totally different from any wolf book i've ever read. I don't really wanna give away what sets this book apart from the rest because I want you to find out on your own. I can tell you thought that you will fall in love with Sam and that you might wanna read it soon because the sequeal is coming out NEXT MONTH! I personally can't wait (that's why i'm occupying myself with other books so I don't go insane) for it to be released. And yes, i've already have pre-ordered it. If you've taken what i've said already and have decided to read Hush Hush first either read fast or start Shiver too because you really won't put this one down.

WHAT UP WIT DAT?

Ever since last week when I posted the BumpIt blog i've been itching to get the infamous product and I finally have. I wanted to try it out so bad that I did so at 2 in the morning. The only problem I have is getting my hair to stay up, I really need to use hairspray. I was really hoping to get my hair as tall as Amy Winehouse's but let's face it, we can't all "tease" our wigs to look like THAT.

As you can see the ponytail bit doesn't work too well either, it doesn't even look like i'm wearing and that i just have a big ass skull in the back. I do think I could pass as Snooki though, if only i had a nice dark tan.So now I wanna know what you think of me with a Bumpit. Haiti Earthquake

I think just about everybody knows about the earthquake that struck Haiti yestarday and just how bad people have said it's been. I was looking though photos today wanting to put them up but I felt that it wouldn't give you just the full effect of what happened so instead I posted these vids.   If you'd like to donate you can text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 or text "Yele" to 501501 to donate $5 all proceeds go towards Haiti relief funds!

I know i've been asking some people if I should get my nose pierced or my lip pierced so i've decided to make it a poll. If you look over <---there on the left hand side you can vote your opinion.

Like It or Spike It?

All last week whenever I would look at my Twitter profile picture I kept thinking to myself, "damn I look like I should have the Snookie bump." So now I want someone elses opionion to see if I should try and rock it.
